SMUDge all stars

“There’s an inherent mystery to this process and the power is preserving that mystery or even further, obscuring it.” Prince.

Seven years ago an analog intelligence network was created to reflect the cultural mixing pot of London which we call Smudge!

What is Smudge?  Think of it as a network of analogue nodes, analogue intelligence, AI. These nodes have digital sub nodes with which to share their intelligence. This network mines for funk, digging……digging……deeper……deeper……We call it Smudge.

Who are Smudge? The identity of the people behind Smudge will develop over time. Smudge wants to keep this side mysterious for the time being. Let people find out through interviews or shows, this process can happen naturally. Who they are as individuals is not important, the truth of the funk is it’s all a collective, it’s greater than the sum of its parts, it transcends and has its own identity. If you can do that, you’re getting closer to what the funk means.
